South Carolina Medical Billing & Coding Salary Information

Even as the industry is currently showing strong signs of expansion, peak demand for South Carolina medical billing and coding jobs has not yet occurred. According to a report recently released by the Research Division of the South Carolina Department of Commerce, in the preceding decade healthcare support occupation salaries, including those for medical billing and coding specialists, increased steadily by about 22 percent. In coming decades the trend for an increasing salary is projected to continue as factors in South Carolina combine to create an ideal atmosphere for careers in the medical billing and coding field.
