The latest job growth numbers from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics for the first quarter of 2013 show a strong increase in health care professionals, in particular for those in information and administration, including medical billers and coders. In fact, medical billing and coding professionals are expected to increase by 21 percent by 2022, outpacing most other careers in the state. Especially for those with accredited training and certification, the outlook is quite promising.
